Wonderful Everyday brings up Mullins treble in Goffs Bumper Champion trainer Willie Mullins recorded a treble on the opening afternoon of the 2025 Punchestown Festival as Wonderful Everyday came from off the pace to win the Goffs Defender Bumper. Held up towards rear by Ruth Dudfield, the 16/1 chance moved closer into mid division on the outside of runners over half-a-mile out. Pushed along to go seventh entering the straight, the debutant made rapid headway to chase leader Brosna Shine at the furlong pole. Pushed along to lead over 100 yards out, the filly stayed on nicely to score by one-and-three-quarter lengths from the staying on Green Hint, with Brosna Shine a further two-lengths back in third. Willie Mullins said: “This filly had been doing everything right at home but I didn’t know how good she was and Maith An Buachaill also ran well. “They were both at the back passing the winning post so they ran crackers. “It’s great when someone in the yard rides a winner at one of the big meetings and Ruth has ridden one or two winners for us before so it’s great for her. “A couple of the others were disappointing, but they will make into nice bumper horses for next year.
