Following a precautionary inspection this morning Punchestown is fit for racing and the fixture scheduled for today goes ahead.

The ground remains heavy. There is a possibility of snow showers this morning with rain and sleet forecast through the afternoon.

Cork remains heavy ahead of Saturday's card following 5mm of rain since entries.

Showers are forecast today with a dry outlook tomorrow. There is the risk of frost on Saturday morning

Fairyhouse is also heavy ahead of Sunday's action. It is set to be mainly dry and cold with occasional showers.

The ground at Clonmel, who race next Thursday, is heavy. The weather is set to remain cold with widespread frosts into next week.
