Four Steeplechases cancelled at Punchestown on Friday 27th April

The Turf Club has announced that the four steeplechases – the K F M Hunters Steeplechase for the Bishopscourt Cup, the Breakfast With Hector on 2Fm Handicap Steeplechase, the Aon Novice Handicap Steeplechase and the Irish Racing Post Champion Hunters Steeplechase – have all been cancelled at Punchestown on Friday, 27th April due to ground conditions.

It has also been announced that the Grade One Ryanair Novice Chase, which was scheduled to be run today, has been added to Friday’s programme to form a five race card.

Ryanair Novice Chase was reopened for decs. Nearest The Pin was not declared this time but Shot From The Hip was added to the 7 runners.

Meanwhile ahead of Sunday's card at Navan, the going is described as soft to heavy (heavy in places).
