Fruit Blossom (11/4jf) was at her Sunday best again as she delivered in the mares' beginners' chase at Tramore.

She travelled well to lead under Jack Kennedy after three out in this extended 2m5f assignment, but had company racing to the next as Howaya C D And E moved into contention.

The latter was a bit out to his left in jumping that obstacle and Fruit Blossom was in no mood to relent as she galloped on well to close out the race by four and a-quarter lengths.

Runner-up Howaya C D And E went off at 6/1 and was three lengths clear of a keeping-on Natural Look (3/1) who suffered tack issues during the race.

Assistant trainer Ian Amond said: "We are after having a good time down here. She did that easy and only won this day last week at Downpatrick.

"She is owned by a syndicate of lads from Summerhill. They would be all good friends of Gordon's and his father Pat is involved too. They've had horses in the yard for years and have been a lucky syndicate, with this one another that's working out for them.

"She won easy and, looking at it, you'd imagine there will be more wins in her. She'll be kept going when she is in this kind of form, and she could even go back over hurdles."

fFruit Blossom won over hurdles in Downpatrick last Sunday.

This was Elliott's sixth winner of this year's Tramore August Festival and Kennedy partnered his fifth winner.
