The long-absent Beat That could make his return to action at the Punchestown Festival.

Nicky Henderson's charge saw off Don Poli to claim the Irish Daily Mirror Novice Hurdle at the showpiece fixture in 2014, but has suffered his fair share of problems since.

On his only subsequent appearance, the nine-year-old finished down the field in a conditions race at Cheltenham and that was well over two years ago.

Speaking in his Stan James blog, Henderson sad: "Beat That is in work and he might be added to the Punchestown list.

"It will be some comeback if he can retain his ability, but you never know."
