Flat Out takes the bumper

Sat 29th Aug 2009, 20:29

Willie Mullins, earlier successful with Definitive Edge doubled-up in the Anglo Printers Flat Race courtesy of Flat Out ridden by Patrick. Both winners were returned at twos on.

The latter, a grey son of Sagamix, travelled supremely well and once given the office about a furlong out the result was soon put beyond doubt. The French-bred crossed the line five and a half lengths in front of Courtly Conduct

Willie said afterwards: "He stays well and likes that ground. We'll see about a winners contest and he'll soon go hurdling."

In other news from the venue, Shane Jackson, who got a fall from Smack That in the 6.30, was stood down for 48 hours with mild concussion.
