The father and daughter team of Johnny and Caroline Murtagh combined for an impressive victory as Full Court Press routed his five rivals in the Follow @TheToteCom On Twitter Handicap at Ballinrobe.

The Frozen Power gelding, already a winner at Roscommon earlier this year, went off the 2/1 favourite, and quickly settled the issue by stretching clear at the home bend.

The three-year-old kept on strongly to beat Sretaw by a comfortable seven lengths, with Jan Van Eyck another four and three quarter lengths away in third.

Johnny Murtagh said, “We gave him a bit of a break as he’s been busy this year but I didn’t expect him to win like that after a break.

“He’s entered at Leopardstown and Down Royal later this week and we’ll have a look and see what the handicapper does. He excelled over the distance, and it looked like he stayed well.

“It’s great for Caroline as well. She’s been with Ger Lyons for the last two weeks, and he says he’s improved her 10lb!” Ebasani slipped up entering the straight leaving his rider Conor McGovern with a suspected fractured collarbone.
