Clonmel Thu, 5th Sep, 2024  Bizarre Dreams She came out of her last race very well, it was a good setup for her today and everything went very well. She got to the front well, but idled a little bit when she got there. I thought at the start of the year she would win a race or two for us, but it has taken a while although I'm glad to get her off the mark. We'll keep her busy from now until the end of the year.

Gowran Park Tue, 3rd Sep, 2024  Glen Princess she likes it here but she’s been running in handicaps and it’s been tough going for her. This looked a winnable race if she ran to her form and Ben said she travelled very well and quickened up well. She came here to be claimed and has won two races for us now. She looked impressive there today and I’m sure somebody will take a chance.

Gowran Park Tue, 3rd Sep, 2024  Greatest Drama she worked well during the week, so we thought coming here she had a chance. She was after having a good run against the colts and that looked a very good race, so we were coming here with a bit of confidence. Ben said she’s still a bit green, is still learning on the job and hopefully there is a bit more to come. I’ll have a chat with the owners and she should be able to do one more this year. It was a good battle to the line, and she should have learned plenty today. I’m delighted for the owners who have supported us over the last couple of years.

Curragh Sat, 31st Aug, 2024  King Thistle I thought after being second in Down Royal he had a high mark but Patrick's 10lb claim helped. I think he's a good young lad, he's after being on the pony circuit for a while,. He's inexperienced but he has plenty of experience riding. Patrick came to me last year before going back to school but he's here full-time now. He signed on just after Dingle and he's been with me full-time for a couple of months . I think you'll hear a bit more about him, he's not too bad. I think the claim played a big part in it today, he's a small horse and had a big weight. We put the blinkers on him because Ben (Coen) thought the last day that he does look around a bit and he needs to concentrate. I thought seven furlongs at the Curragh today would suit him well. I'm delighted for the owner Noel (Hartley) who has backed us for the last couple of years. It's been hard to win races for him. To win a race at the Curragh means a lot and he's absolutely delighted.

Bellewstown Tue, 27th Aug, 2024  Ob La Di When I entered her, I thought 'gees she would have a great chance of winning a race', but when you see the standard of race. It looked a very, very competitive race, but this is a filly we always thought a lot of at the start of the year. She goes through the soft ground well and it was a good performance. I just put the cheekpieces on for this track, it is a sharp track. I put them on her and she probably didn't need them, but around here just put them on her to help her on this track. She is going the right way and I think she is a filly for the future.
