The John Kiely trained Another Charm ran out an extremely fortuitous winner of the Curracloe Maiden Hurdle under Mark Walsh.

The aptly named even money favourite, Some Drama cruised upsides Turica as they approached the last and a clean jump there would have sealed the deal for the Dermot McLoughlin trained mare.

However she crashed out under Conor Maxwell and brought down the Andrew Lynch ridden Turica (14/1) who in turn hampered Dominetta Vitali who was in third.

Another Charm, who looked set to finish a well beaten fourth, seized the opportunity and came through on the run-in to lead, going on to win by four lengths at the odds of 4/1.

The Myles Sunderland trained Dominetta Vitali had to settle for second under Michael Doran at 6/1 while Soul Train finished eighteen lengths back in third under Bryan Cooper for Dermot Weld.

John Kiely said afterwards: "That's the way it goes when your luck is in. Her jumping is improving and hopefully she can improve another bit.

"She has won two now and we’ll probably get her handicap mark."
