Several horses in Navan have shortened with the bookmakers in the early trading on today's events.

Joseph O'Brien 's First Blood trades around 9/2 from as big as 18/1 for the second split of the NavanRacecourse.ie Handicap at 5.05pm. This is his first handicap after finishing unplaced in three races to date.

Duqesa Beach is a non runner in this contest. Kimbah is 9/1 from 25/1 for the opening Irish EBF Auction Series Maiden at 1pm.

Nigel Slevin 's juvenile was fourth on debut at Dundalk in April.

Emmet Mullins' newcomer Midgetonamission has been supported to beat the easy-to-back favourite Geocentric in the Yeomanstown Stud 'Invincible Army' Irish EBF Maiden at 2.10pm. Mickey The Steel is very solid for the Lynn Lodge Stud Maiden at 1.35pm where Swift Flight is a significant non runner.

There has also been some market moves for Irish-trained horses competing in the UK today with Johnny Murtagh's Sonnyboyliston (8/1 - 6/1) for the John Smith's Silver Cup at York and Ken Condon's Miss Amulet (50/1 - 25/1) has halved in price for today feature race the Group1 July Cup at Newmarket.
