Alan King is considering the Punchestown Festival for Cheltenham Festival runner-up Midnight Tour.

Although the Barbury Castle handler failed to strike gold at this year's Festival, he saw several of his hopefuls perform well in defeat.

Indeed, the horse who came closest to victory was Midnight Tour, who was beaten just half a length into second place by Benie Des Dieux in the OLBG Mares' Hurdle.

With domestic options thin on the ground, she could now head to the big meeting in April.

"Midnight Tour ran really well," said King.

"She was probably the highlight of the week for us, really.

"There is not much else for her over here and if she runs again this season we might go to Punchestown."
