Morning Run maintained her 100% record as she made it three from three in the concluding Enniscorthy Mares INH Flat Race at Wexford.

The Willie Mullins trained five-year-old won on debut by a length and a half in the Premier Bumper at the Punchestown Festival in May. She then followed up with a two and three quarter length success in a Down Royal bumper in June.

The five-year-old daughter of King's Theatre gave weight away to all of her six rivals today and she was backed on-course from 2/5 to 1/3.

Sent straight into the lead by Patrick Mullins she soon went clear and while here advantage was reduced five furlongs out she asserted again over a furlong from home, going on to score easily by three and a quarter lengths. Allez Encore ran well to finish second at 20/1 under David Mullins for James Barcoe while Collen Beag was a further length back in third.

Patrick Mullins said afterwards: "She is a very good mare and she did what we expected there. We said we’d keep it simple.

"She has a high cruising speed and I think she is a high class winter mare. I’m not sure where she will go now. She has won three bumpers and not many mares do that.

"She compares favourably with Morning Supreme her sister and I think she could be even a bit more classier than her."

Willie Mullins took this race last year with Pink Hat while Annie Power won it two years ago when trained by Jim Bolger and ridden by Patrick Mullins.
