Mullins/Townend score with Dorset Square

Sat 20th Feb 2010, 15:34

Dorset Square recorded his second win in four starts for Champion Trainer Willie Mullins when taking the attheraces.com With Free Timeform Handicap Hurdle at Fairyhouse today, scoring narrowly under Paul Townend.

The son of Fantastic Light looked set for a clear win early on the run-in but runner-up Dancing Hero did stay on to good effect to score by a diminishing neck.

Afterwards Mullins reported “Dorset Square is only a handy sized horse and is better racing with lighter weights under 10st07lbs. Opportunities will prove difficult to find with him now but he wont have much problem staying three miles.”
