Not For Converting Not For Beating

Thu 19th Feb 2009, 17:44

Willie Mullins' first-timer, Not For Converting under Patrick, got the job done at odds of 2/5 in the Kilsheelan Flat Race but only by a neck from Galactic Warrior and not before surviving a steward's enquiry.

Jackie Mullins' Bob Back gelding carried the runner-up left inside the final furlong.

Willie Mullins said: "Patrick said he hated every bit of the ground. He'll be under consideration for the Cheltenham Bumper."

Patrick Mullins was severely cautioned for the ride. (EM)
