O'Muircheartaigh wins under sub Geraghty

Jockey Barry Geraghty benefited from the injured Andrew McNamara when subsituting on the Edward O'Grady trained O,Muircheartaigh in the Bennettsbridge Handicap Chase at Gowran today.

The son of Accordion raced in mid-division before progressing to eventually lead before the final fence, staying on for a half length win.

The win was O'Muircheartaigh s first success since December '07.
