Unowhatimeanharry will be aimed at the Ladbrokes Champion Stayers Hurdle at the Punchestown Festival after bypassing an outing in the Ryanair Liverpool Stayers Hurdle at Aintree.

Connections of the Harry Fry-trained nine-year-old opted to miss the three-mile Grade One at the Merseyside track on Saturday on account of the drying ground.

The JP McManus-owned gelding tasted his first defeat since joining the Seaborough handler when finishing third in last month's Stayers' Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival.

Fry said: "We just decided the ground was going to come up too quick for him at Aintree.

"He will now go to Punchestown for the three-mile Grade One there. That is the plan, all being well."
