Punchestown now yielding

Following watering, the ground is now yielding on both the hurdle and chase tracks at Punchestown.

Fresh ground will be in use on the hurdle track today, with watering set to continue on the cross-country circuit in preparation for the banks races tomorrow and Saturday.

The forecast is for warm and dry weather today, with temperatures reaching 22 to 24 degrees.

Looking further ahead and the ground at Down Royal ahead of racing on Monday is good, good to yielding in places, with watering in operation.

The Curragh also race on Monday and it's good, good to yielding on the straight course there, while it's good on the round track. The situation will be monitored in regards to watering.
