The Great White came home strongest in the first division of Limerick's extended two mile three handicap hurdle.

He was pushed along by Conor Maxwell in third approaching the home straight and delivered his challenge on the inner coming to the second last.

He popped it in the lead and began to increase his advantage over an under pressure Definiteadare and Amlad

The 5/1 shot moved clear at the last and strode right away from his tiring rivals to score by 11 lengths.

Definiteadare (11/10f) finished second and was three lengths in front of 7/2 Amlad.

Trainer Dermot McLoughlin said: “Conor said he had plenty of horse. He enjoyed the ground, they went a good gallop and the race sort of fell apart a bit.

“He’s in again at Kilbeggan on Friday, so we might go again if he comes out of this okay.”
