After race at Downpatrick Mon, 31st Aug, 2026 (1st)  I'd say the ground maybe turned up too slow (in Galway). I didn't even want to run him again after Galway and the owners said we will give him one more go. He's after winning two, thank God. He got it handy there in front today, his jumping is very good. I was worried that he was down in trip, but we were hoping Finnians Row would go a gallop and make it a test and he didn't, but Kevin was good on him. I was watching and at the fourth-last I was saying, 'Go on, kick him on!', and he wasn't. I’m delighted for the owners. I'd say we might end up coming back over hurdles the next day (in Downpatrick) - he's rated 100 over hurdles. I had him in at Fontwell on Friday and I was going to bring him and the English handicapper gave him 8lb, so I didn't bother. He repaid us there. I rang the boys and they let me go to Downpatrick instead, and it worked out. Ian Patrick Donoghue

After race at Kilbeggan Fri, 16th May, 2025 (1st)  That was lovely. He had a couple of very good runs in chases, he was unlucky in Tramore when making a mistake at the last,. We bought him for small money and he’s been very profitable for the syndicate. That’s his second win and he’s been placed numerous times. I’m delighted with him, he’s a lovely horse. It was a very competitive race. He’s marked where he’s marked now and might go up a couple of pounds for that. It will be interesting to see what he’d do in handicaps. He seems to be better over fences for some reason, I don’t know why. Kevin gets on with the owners and he’s a grand horse to have. We might have a crack at the Connacht National in Roscommon, that’s the one that comes to mind. Any win on any night is good so we’re delighted. Declan Queally
