Wexford Fri, 30th Aug, 2024  World Of Fortunes She was a little bit sticky jumping and it was a good thing it was three-miles today, as it gave her the time to warm into it. A couple of things went wrong but I'd say her ability got her through. She'll have to sharpen up and get slicker jumping, but in fairness she hadn't run in nearly 290 days. All she'll do is improve and we're delighted with her.  . She had a couple of little niggly injuries and her owner has been very patient. He gave her all the time in the world. She'll keep hurdling now and we'll look for a race in three or four weeks. We've nothing mapped out, we said we'd get today out of the way first and see how it went. James Kenny, representing

Ballinrobe Tue, 23rd Jul, 2024  Tilloughna She had great runs in bumpers and lost her way a little bit. Then she ran a cracker over hurdles at Limerick last summer, but just wasn't firing after that. She was running away okay without being herself. The last couple of weeks she's turned a corner and my horses are running better. She'd a grand run in Listowel and she was flying at home lately. I fancied her today, I thought she'd win. She just needed a bit of confidence and that will do her the world of good. She'll come on again from that and will jump a fence in time, she's plenty big. She's homebred and the owners' other mare (Stormalong, third over 2m1f earlier) was unlucky, she got boxed in and didn't get out in time. They could have had two winners on the day.

Ballinrobe Tue, 28th May, 2024  St Anthonys Corner She's a nice filly who works very well and is very good to jump. I expected her to run a big race. She can be a little bit buzzy, so I put the hood on her today. She has a lovely pedigree. I bought her last year in the Land Rover (now Arkle) Sale at Goffs and I sold her to Tommy O'Donnell, who's a publican from Gort, for a little bit of profit the following day. It's a great start to her career and I'm delighted for Tommy.
