jumping off at the start I had to give him a shake but in fairness to him, he got into a great rhythm and his jumping was so good. He fell asleep over the final three fences and was just doing enough but once I gave him a few reminders, he opened up well to the line. He is a fine big horse who we’ve always thought plenty of and he has put two wins back-to-back now. This will do his confidence the world of good and while he stays really well, is a classy stayer who also quickens up well. He handles that nice ground well and I’m sure they have a plan for him.

He’s a lovely big horse and a real chaser in the making. He has loads of size and scope and he gallops. He’s big and raw and we felt whatever he did today, that he’d improve. He has a good attitude. I didn’t get a schooling hurdle into him which I would have liked, but his jumping improved as the race went on. Darragh was brilliant on him and delighted to get a winner for the Magniers who are fantastic supporters.

He's a nice horse and I'd say there's a lot of improvement to come,. He's a beautiful-looking horse, a big chaser in the making and he has lots of fences jumped which is a big help. He was good and genuine there when challenged and I spoke with Sam (Curling, trainer of Swingin Safari) earlier on and he liked his horse. I was liking my fella too, but it just goes to show you that you never have anything up your sleeve. We'll take our time with him and hopefully he's a nice prospect for us.
