It's great to be here in such a unique place. I haven't been here for four years but have had 10 or 12 rides here over the years. we've been having a very very slow time of it this summer but little fish are sweeter and I'm glad to get to the 20 winner mark for the season. Hopefully we'll make it to 30 winners by the end of the year but we sold almost everything and have had less ammunition this year.

I thought the fourtheen pounds was very harsh the last day but he's come out and won again. He's improving all of the time and he got an excellent ride by Keagan [Latham]. The blinkers really helped him, it's not that he's ungenuine he's just a bit timid.

She was given to me as a present from Mrs Bettina of Anamoine. She's after growing and maturing this year, she was entitled to win on her last run and she deserved it. She's a long way down the handicap since her maiden win and I just hope the handicapper doesn't crucify her. She's run enough times for him to know how good she is.

She did it well, we've always had winners for the owners every year so it was nice to keep the tradition going. It was her first win and she deserved to get a win under her belt. We'll go for another similar type race with her next.
