Curragh Sat, 7th Oct, 2023  Tawaazon Touch wood the horses seem to be back in good form. . I’d say this lad needed the run at Bellewstown mentally as much as anything else. . He ended up on the vet's list. We had to medicate him a few times and every time he goes to the races now he has to trot up. Hopefully the fact that he’s winning now, it might be easier to get him off it. . He has plenty of mileage and wear and tear but has been a brilliant servant to us. 

Curragh Sat, 26th Aug, 2023  Tamrat It was beautiful and we're delighted, especially with the day that's in it, for Malachy (Ryan — Moyglare Stud manager), and Miss Haefner for this to come to plan. It wasn't really the plan though as we genuinely thought he'd take a run, he's a big horse. He hasn't missed a day but our horses do take a run. He's a gentleman at home and from the word go we've liked him. Colin had ridden a horse for Michael O'Callaghan in the race that he liked (Ocean Conquest) and the form of Donnacha (O'Brien's) horse (Starliner) has worked out well. We knew that it wasn't going to be an easy race so for him to do that, and the way he stuck his head out, we're delighted. Colin said it's beautiful ground out there and he wouldn't want it any quicker. With the size of him it'll be next year. It opens doors for us, he's in some big races but we'll see how he comes out of the race. He still would have had a hard race today because it was a shock to the system. We'll take baby steps.

Galway Sat, 5th Aug, 2023  Enfranchise She ran in the graded hurdle the other evening and was only beaten a length for second and to have had a run around here makes an awful difference,. I think she is very good and we like her a lot at home - I was disappointed she was beaten the other evening but we at least we got it today. This mare is after doing everything since I bought her, she won the (Ulster) Oaks (at Down Royal) and it is hard to get a mare like this one - I think she is very smart. I have her entered in the Ebor but she won't get in off her mark and we haven't looked any further than this.

Cork Fri, 28th Jul, 2023  Gabriella's Spirit Chris Hayes rode her in a four-way tight finish at the Curragh the last day and we decided to go for cheekpieces today. Billy said she enjoyed getting a bit of light and, as it worked out, was on the right side of the draw as she got a nice lead from Dun Na Sead who was quickly away. This is a lovely prize to win and these Premier Handicaps are hard won. It is nice for Con who bred her and it is a family he knows well. She has such a nice pedigree that there is nothing to be lost by looking for black-type and she could run in the Listed Abergwaun Stakes at Tipperary now.

Leopardstown Thu, 27th Jul, 2023  Save Your Love He didn't get the best of runs last time but he's that kind of horse, he's a hold up horse and if you light him up early he gets a bit keen,. We fancied him a couple of times and he disappointed in the Gallinule Stakes and the race afterwards. He's a little bit immature mentally and we have a red hood on him to keep him relaxed. I told Ben at the Curragh to drop him in and take the chances. Maybe the second time he should have come out but he took the inside and got seven days. Today everything worked well. He probably got there a little bit too soon as the gap was appearing but I liked the way he put his head down and battled. He's slow progress but he could make up into a nice horse. He's from a very good family and he is coming. He's not a big robust horse but he's starting to really thrive now and could keep improving. I think he'll get another furlong no problem and he could be one for those premier handicaps on Champions Weekend.
