Creekside shows best side
The John Oxx trained Creekside, in the colours of Sheikh Mohammed, made an impressive winning debut in the opening Naas Median Auction Maiden at Naas today. Sat 16th Apr
Creekside looked like he was hanging left first of all but when Johnny hit him, he went right . he takes a bit of steering. I was sure we had too much weight beforehand and while he's lazy, he has an engine. We'll see what rating he gets after this but I'd say we'll be kicked out of handicaps now! Eight or nine furlongs is his trip and we may go for something better now.

we'll aim Creekside at a handicap next and see how he gets on . it is difficult to place median auction maiden winners but hopefully he'll be able to move up the ladder a bit further. Creekside was badly drawn today and he needed to jump out quickly to get a good position . in the end though he didn't really learn a lot from today's win.
