Curragh Sat, 31st Aug, 2024  Acapulco Bay We're very happy with him, he was very green in front,. The last day he came from behind and Ryan said he never really picked the bridle up at all. He felt that he was in second gear the whole time. It was new to him but he was very happy with him. He really didn't go forward at all and was just waiting the whole time because he hadn't been in front before. Obviously he's going to be a horse that will take his time in a good race. We saw what he did the last day over seven when he came flashing home. The last day he travelled and quickened and today he didn't go forward at all because all he was doing was looking, he was getting no lead. I'd say he's quicker than he looked today. The second horse ran a lovely race. He has done plenty of work and has been there a long time, working all the time, but he's just been asleep. That's why we run them, get them out and see. Wayne was happy with him, complimentary of him.

Tramore Sat, 17th Aug, 2024  Nostra Casa I had never ridden him before. He has plenty of ability but you just have to get things right with him. The ground is key with him. The first furlong-and-a-half is just about getting him to jump and travel. Even throughout the race he just doesn't help you, he was behind the bridle and is just a lazy lad. Once you get him travelling and going forward he keeps finding for you.

Galway Mon, 29th Jul, 2024  Feud I was saying to Danny afterwards that it's quite intriguing going forward as to what way he can go because that was quite impressive. The nerves beforehand, it wouldn't matter if it was a bumper in Ballinrobe I'd be under pressure. The last 48 hours have been hell but we're here and we're through it. I loved the way he did it and I loved the way he jumped. He was a bit fumbly and made a few mistakes in Listowel. I thought that might be still in him a bit but he was very clever. He jumped some of them beautifully and the ones he didn't he just kicked them out of the way and never missed a beat. He's a very interesting horse going forward. I'm delighted for the lads, it's important to emphasise the importance of them to me. I've never got a chance to buy a horse like this. We'll explore his ceiling over hurdles and if it's a case that he comes back to being a lovely dual-purpose horse we'll see. I'm not thinking about that, we'll go home and make a plan. Beforehand I said we're either going to Listowel for the Lartigue or else the Royal Bond. The dream has come true, for now.

Listowel Mon, 3rd Jun, 2024  Feud I'm thrilled with that and he had been doing everything right at home prior to running on the flat in April, but ran deplorably. That didn't really made sense, so we schooled him and he enjoyed it and continued to work well. Hurdling could be his job and he was quite impressive. He is a grand horse and is a half-brother to Fallen Angel who won the 1,000 Guineas last week, so has a terrific pedigree. You just hope that when you set them at hurdling, they enjoy it although Danny said he was quite awkward at several jumps and lost an iron at one stage, so if he brushes that up we have a load to look forward to. I think he is entitled to go to Galway.
