Eddie Lynam's Dahindar, top weight and 5/1 in the one mile handicap at Dundalk, showed a powerful finishing burst to put a length and three quarters between himself and Arcadian Dream, the 7/2 favourite. Fri 29th Oct
Dahindar vindicates Lynam's patience
Dahindar produced a devastating finishing burst half a furlong out to claim the one mile handicap for trainer Eddie Lynam at Dundalk. Jockey Padraig Beggy on board the gelding was booting home his second winner of the day. Sun 03rd Oct
Dahindar doesn't like soil and will probably be rated 100 after this so we'll have to run him again here next week.

We always thought he was a good horse and he's come back and started to show it now. He did it well and was always the winner of the race.

I thought this horse was going to be a premier handicapper but it just hasn't happened with him. Maybe Dundalk suits him or maybe a sunny day does. The owner has been very patient with him and we'll look to bring him back here. This race has been good to me as I won it last year also.
