It's job done. Davy was delighted that her jumping was so good and she was professional about it,. I don't think she could have done anymore than what she did. She's having a good blow and we know she is going to come on. What I loved was that down over the last two she was brilliant. I couldn't be happier and Down Royal is the plan now all being well. I'm a big believer in winning what you can win so at the moment the mares race is the plan with her. You never know what's going to happen but for me that's what I'd like to do. Keith Donoghue has done a lot of work with her. He rides her most days and has done all the schooling so a big thanks has to go to him. Davy got the easy job just getting up and riding her in a race but Keith is after doing all the work on her. She's been pretty good (schooling) but until you go and see them do that on the track you never know. She made the running in a few of her bumpers, although I know she didn't do it in Cheltenham. Just sometimes in those maiden hurdles when you have so many runners if something goes wrong you can end up getting knocked down. She doesn't have to make the running but I'd prefer to have them behind you than in front of you!

She looks very good. We don't gallop her a lot at home as she's very buzzy. She does all her work on the track,. Jamie (Codd) bought her, he rode her and so big thanks have to go to him. We've schooled her at home and she's very good at jumping. I expect we'll put her away now and keep her to go jumping hurdles. If I have my way that's what she'll do anyway. She's fairly honest and she tries for you but she's a buzzy little thing. A summer's grass will do her the world of good.
Gordon Elliott
Five winners in two days? I can't believe it.
Gordon Elliott
she's a fair mare and she galloped them into the ground. She won a schooling bumper here by 20 lengths a couple of weeks ago and she jumps brilliant as well - she has her black type now.
Gordon Elliott
I didn’t see the end of it but she seemed to do it very well. She’ll be sold now I’d say. That’s what she was bought for - to be sold. The boys wanted to go point-to-pointing but I didn’t as I thought she was better than a point-to-pointer. She's more a hurdler. She’s very like Fair Ina and Solerina. I gave JJ the instruction to jump off wherever he was happy. I said she’ll come from behind or go from the front. He said he went a stride too slow because she’s a real galloper. She’s very like Solerina to gallop. I’m not saying she’s Solerina, probably a long way off it, but she’s off to a good start.
