Donohue breaks marathon cold spell
Carlow-based trainer Tom Donohue landed his first winner on the track since 2003 when Followmeuptocarlow and Bryan Cooper took the two-and-a-half-mile handicap hurdle at Down Royal. Wed 01st Feb
Hopefully he might get his head in front, but then we've thought that a good few times this season. He's a horse who needs to be brought with a late run and Paul Townend rides him for the first time since he won over hurdles at Fairyhouse, so that's a plus.

We weren't expecting it as we thought he'd need the run but I've been preaching to the owner for a while now that Paul Townend is the man for this horse. He has to come with a run and time it to the exact beat. Nobody can do it better than Paul, and he produced him just right today.
