Shinrock Paddy produced a gutsy front-running performance to get off the mark over hurdles in the Punchestown Event Centre Maiden Hurdle. Wed 28th Oct
He's just taken a long time to come right. He was hobdayed before he ever ran and had another wind op in the spring,. It's taken him a while to organise his breathing and Robbie said he was glad that the wind was on his back and not in his face as that would effect one with a wind problem. We'll head to a winners race with him now rather than a handicap as he needs to learn a bit more. He's a real chaser in the making. He's had a lot of problems though and very nearly went to the sales, he was entered twice.
