The trainer then went on to a treble as 11-8 favourite Don't Turn Bach led all the way in the concluding bumper under Patrick Mullins.
Willie Mullins showed why he is champion trainer with a 6-1 treble from his only three runners at Gowran Park.
All three started favourite with stable jockey Ruby Walsh successful on both his mounts of the day, Doctor Deejay (4-5) and Enterprise Park (4-6), while amateur rider Patrick Mullins struck for his father on Don't Turn Bach (11-8).
Doctor Deejay made it third time lucky over jumps in the Green Fee Vouchers 3-Y-O Maiden Hurdle by leading between the last two flights to beat Our Nana Rose by two and a half lengths.
"I'm delighted with that. He's improving nicely and we will try to find a winners' hurdle for him over Christmas," said Mullins.
It was a similar story for Enterprise Park, who made a winning jumps debut in division one of the Porters Saddlery Maiden Hurdle, coming home eight lengths clear of Misala
"He's probably one of the nicest I have in the yard," said the County Carlow handler.
"It's great to win over two miles with him but I think in the future he'll want longer trips.
"He has a real staying pedigree and is closely related to The Listener. He's a horse we could see going the whole way."
The treble was completed by former point-to-pointer Don't Turn Bach, who made all the running when successful by five and a half lengths in the Golf Membership (Pro-Am) INH Flat Race.
There was a dramatic finish to the second division of the maiden hurdle with Gallant Light (5-2) landing the spoils after Taking Stock slipped up on the run-in when a length behind.
"He's just taken a long time to come right. He was hobdayed before he ever ran and had another wind op in the spring," said winning trainer Jessica Harrington.
