he is a very straightforward horse and to win today was a real bonus. He'll be heading up to Graded company now but unfortunately isn't entered in any of the novice races at Punchestown next week . he'll go chasing at some stage too.
C Byrnes
Barry didn't think he was going anywhere three out but he finds a lot and always has done,. He looked beaten on his second last run at Gowran and found plenty for Matty Bowes. He'll go summer chasing now when the new season starts.
C Byrnes
He is only a four-year-old but he handles the ground and jumps well. He is a tremendous jumper for his age. He might go back to novice company now where he'd have the four-year-old weight allowance.
C Byrnes
That was a comfortable win and the ground is the key to him. He didn't like jumping on the fast ground the last two days. Matthew (Bowes) carried out the instructions beautifully as I told him to take no chances.
C Byrnes
He had flat form on softish ground which was always going to be a help. He was probably a lucky winner but they all count.
