I thought the two would run well. It's a shame they both had to run in the same race, I was hoping they would divide the race. The other horse (Twistsandturns) ran a good race as well.
Patrick J Flynn
It was a nice race for him as he likes small fields and we were hopeful today,. He was in good form coming here but he's a horse that everything has to go right with. He maybe hit the front too soon but got away with it. He was second over 1m1f in Galway before and we'll see. He's not a horse to run back quickly.
Patrick J Flynn
The last day was a bit soft for him. He's on a decent enough mark and hopefully he can win again.
Patrick J Flynn
I'm delighted for the owners Simon Girvan and Donal O'Brien who are two lovely fellas,. Simon is a real character and it was his dream to have Johnny ride one for him. The horse did it well. He was beaten by a very good one in Tipperary last time. We were just hoping he would step up and his home work was very good. He'll be a lovely horse to look forward to next year.
G M Lyons
