it’s been a while coming! I’ve tried to get this chap (jockey Gavin Ryan) for a while as I think he rides very well. It’s the first time I have been able to get him. She’s been threatening to win a race for a while having run some stinkers last year but she likes this time of the year and she loves here. I thought he was very strong on her, and she seemed to battle for him. She will keep going on the grass. I don’t think the ground is that big a difference to her but she likes nice ground.

Killian has ridden a few winners for me but that's as good a ride as he's given any horse for me,. We've had issues losing ground at the start and a lot of it is if she goes in a bit early. She gets a bit on her toe and stupid. We managed to go in last tonight which helped. She's never had as good a position after two furlongs than she had tonight. She battled well. I knew Ado's horse was well fancied and it was a right good battle for the last furlong-and-a-half. Killian felt he was always going to get there but I wasn't as convinced as he was. I think the rail made a difference. She's a good tough honest filly. She's had a bit of ground to make up in some of her last few starts. Her mother was a great old servant, and got better as she got older, so she might do the same thing. We like this filly and she's been a great servant.

she seemed to have come forward nicely from her first win here. We were happy with her coming in and Wayne said everything went right for her. She settled well today and they went a good pace. I was a bit concerned stepping up to a mile that she mightn't settled well enough but they went hard, she switched off and picked up well. She may come back here before this (winter series) ends as she handles the surface well, but I would think she'll like the grass. She's going the right way and I'd imagine she'll even get further in time but a mile is far enough at the minute.
Patrick Martin
That’s good - eventually!. I really fancied her two runs back but it just didn’t happen and the last day, six (furlongs) was a bit sharp for her but she still ran a good race. She was a good bit better than her mark was and it’s just great to see her win. We had her mother and I think she won seven races between hurdling and the Flat - she wasn’t as precocious as this one was early on. We’ll have a nice bit of fun with her and she has a lovely owner (Derek Molloy).
