Westerner Point followed up on his recent maiden hurdle success at Clonmel as he took the St Patrick's Day Novice Handicap Hurdle under Phillip Enright for Eoghan O'Grady. Tue 17th Mar
he likes it here and there is a similar race back here in two weeks time so he'll probably come back for that. Trevor gave him a super ride, although funnily enough he pulled harder today than he did the last day.

He ran well at Galway, and we were hoping that today might be the day. He’s entered at Thurles on Thursday but that will probably be a bit quick. We’ll see how he is and how the handicapper reacts.
