We thought he would have won a race last year and he just didn’t,. He was unlucky here with Hugh Morgan last June. If he had jumped the second last Hugh thought he would have won. He got an easy enough lead there. I thought he’d want a flatter track but the owner (Martin McGowan) only lives next so he was always going to have to run here. It’s great for him. He’s a horse that won a bumper and you’d think he’d be better than this level, even at his age. You’d hope he might be able to do something more again.
