Tramore Thu, 8th Oct, 2026  Rattledelatch He's bred to be a chaser. He disappointed us a bit over hurdles. A lot of credit has to go to Keith Donoghue. He rode him in a hurdle race a few months ago. He got off him and he gave out hell about him, but his last statement was 'but he's ok'. We just rode him differently, dropped him in in a few hurdle races and it's worked. He's really a spring ground horse, so I would imagine he's probably gone for this year. He's only a five-year-old and he's done his job.

Killarney Sun, 4th Oct, 2026  Joe's Turn He didn't get to run much this year as he was balloted out on occasions and, also, his wind isn't great, so we pick and choose where to run. He is a heavy-ground horse but his wind doesn't carry him on it, so we duck and dive looking for reasonable going. He likes a flat track, he jumps and stays all day. Donagh gave him a great ride. I've lost two races through enquiries already this year, so hopefully this won't be the third!

Gowran Park Fri, 2nd Oct, 2026  The Ducks Walk I thought he’d win on his handicap debut at Kilbeggan and Richie just got sandwiched in between two horses going down to the last. Then we went to Tramore and it was a bit short for him, he was running on at the finish. The last day everything went wrong, going left-handed around Wexford. I fancied him today and he put it right. Richie said he thought he was in for a bit of a bollocking down the back as I had said to him ‘don’t be any worse than mid-division as they are all winning from the front’. Down the back he was last and I’d say he knew he was in for it when he came in!. It worked out well. They probably went quick enough in front as they dropped back. Maybe after the earlier races everyone had the same thought, they wanted to be handy. It probably set up for him then, he was dead last the whole way until across the top. He won a point-to-point so he’s well able to jump fences. He actually probably jumps a fence better than hurdles but we had him handicapped and he was ready to go so we said we’d keep at it until he wins. He’ll probably go over fences now. Whether he’d handle bottomless ground, I don’t know, but we might have this for another month or two.

Killarney Thu, 16th Jul, 2026  Illtakehimmyself He deserved that. He’s been placed in his last three runs and gone up 7lb,. It was important to try and win with him before he crept up another few pounds. He’s not blessed with speed but he’s a real tough, genuine, honest, horse. He’ll go chasing sooner rather than later, he jumps a fence very well. He loves a bit of good ground, so he’ll run away for the summer now.

Downpatrick Sun, 14th Jun, 2026  Georginas Jet It wasn't really the plan, we were to sit in behind the leaders, but she got hold of the bit and she was running keen on him, so he said he'd let her slide on. She was gassy everywhere and Gavin gave her a grand ride. Jack (Gilligan) was to ride her, but claiming off 10-8 would be a struggle for him. Her half-brother (Jerry From Kerry) bolted in there last Sunday in Punchestown. She has always been a filly that would win. The ground the last day in Limerick was atrocious. She had kind of course form (placed) here on the better ground. The only concern I had was the drop back in trip. It is nice for the syndicate that own her. Unfortunately, none of them are here today, but she is a winner now. She's a lovely filly; she is all heart and guts. She's grand, we won't get too carried away.

Tramore Sat, 30th May, 2026  Menas Miracle If she stays in that kind of company it would be grand. It’s hard to keep her right,. said Walsh. There are a lot of horses like that for these sharp tracks. The man that had her, Peter Aspell, was only buried two weeks ago. His son took the mare over. It’s sad that she didn’t win for him two weeks ago in Wexford but I’d say he was driving her on tonight. She’ll go for another one of those races now somewhere on good ground.

Tramore Sat, 30th May, 2026  Menas Miracle Speaking after the race, trainer Brendan Walsh said, 'If she stays in that kind of company it would be grand. Its hard to keep her right
