Great success for Billy Lee on Probably
Billy Lee justifiably earned high praise from Ted Walsh on RTE Racing and it was fitting during a most successful season for the Limerick jockey that he'd gain a career high-point by landing the Group 2 Dubai Duty Free Full Of Surprises Railway Stakes on Probably at the Curragh for David Wachman. Probably justifies his short price
Probably justified his odds of 1-2 favourite as he ran out a convincing winner of the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Colts & Geldings Maiden for his trainer David Wachman with Billy Lee in the saddle. Sat 16th Jun
The flat track here helped, though he hit a flat spot a furlong out. He's a nice horse and he'll get a mile. He's always shown plenty at home. He's a very good looking horse with plenty of size and scope. He stays well and Billy gave him a very good ride, he's a very under-rated rider. Seven furlongs or a mile will be right up his street later in the year. He's a good, tough, solid, honest sort. He'll be a better three-year-old, he's a big horse. He's a good actioned horse and he'd prefer better ground.
David Wachman
He is a grand horse. Seven furlongs to a mile is his trip. We will step him up now to Listed or Group company as the year progresses. He is a very straightforward type who goes on any ground.
David Wachman
