He isn't the easiest one so it is unfortunate the owners aren't here today. He is owned by the Lynch family, from Clogherhead, who had Harbour Pilot with Noel Meade previously and they've been very patient with this lad. He has been very hard to get right and he is that he is, although he was back down to his own grade today and maybe the cheekpieces helped. He works well but is awkward and just needs to get his jumping together, although he got into a rhythm today.

After race at Fairyhouse Wed, 5th Feb, 2025 (1st)
he probably wouldn’t have won at Down Royal the last day but was running well until he made a mistake at a crucial stage. He’s a big awkward oul divil, he has legs everywhere and at Down Royal the third-last and second-last were taken out and he missed the fourth-last. It then took him forever to get going. Even over hurdles he’d always give you the odd fright but he jumped brilliantly today, bar the one before the ditch. He probably has more respect for a fence. We might drop him back in trip as he travels well and we’ll see what the handicapper does.
