Sea Coast gets there
We had a couple of outsiders, Fainleog and Mystical Past, withdrawn at the start of the Irish Stallion Farms EBF (Fillies) Maiden at Naas, necessitating a four minute delay. That'll have mattered not a jot to connections of Sea Coast, the 11/8 victor. Wed 09th Jul

Bright start from beautifully bred Stars
The Champions Restaurant At Dundalk Stadium Fillies Maiden was supposed to be all about one of the best non-winners in training getting off the mark. However Carla Bianca (4/9) wasn't able to build on her impressive juvenile form as the mile event heralded the arrival of a talented Sea The Stars filly in Stars So Bright. Wed 16th Apr
she's a very genuine filly and just about got through on the ground and wouldn't necessarily want it. She had no cover at the Curragh and raced too keen but in behind horses she's fine and is as tough as nails. She has lots of size and scope and we might let her take a chance in a Listed race before the end of the year.
M Halford
She was entitled to win her maiden and she done it nicely on the night. She had a couple of very solid runs and I thought if she reproduced any of those she'd be hard to beat. It all went to plan. She could be improving as she's a big scopey filly. We'll run her in a big handicap and she'll take her chance in a Listed race somewhere before the end of the season too.
M Halford
