The ground remains yielding to soft for day four of the Punchestown Festival where the highlight on an eight-race card is the BETDAQ 2% Commission Punchestown Champion Hurdle.

There was 2mm of rain yesterday, and some showers are likely today with the temperatures remaining quite cool. The action once again gets underway at 3.40pm.

Meanwhile the going at a couple of upcoming fixtures is a lot more testing.

Gowran Park hosts a Flat card on Sunday and the ground is currently described as heavy.

The forecast is for rain today with the chance of heavy and persistent showers. The situation is being monitored.

Meanwhile the advance going for a rescheduled meeting at Kilbeggan on Monday is also heavy following 6mm of rain overnight.
