The ground remains soft for the concluding day of what has been a dramatic and memorable Punchestown Festival.

There was no overnight rain at the Co. KIldare venue, and the forecast is mainly for today.

There are two Grade 1 races on the card this afternoon - the EBF Annie Power (Mares) Champion Hurdle and the AES Champion 4YO Hurdle. The action gets underway at 2.35pm.

Meanwhile officials at Gowran Park will hold an inspection at 5pm ahead of tomorrow's Flat card as the track was found to be waterlogged in places after over 10mm of rain yesterday.

Today's point-to-point meeting at Lisronagh got the go ahead after an early morning inspection. The going is heavy.
