Suited by the conditions of this contest, he is the highest-rated in the field, yet receives weight from three rivals. Just touched off in the Grand Annual off 2 lbs higher, the seven-year-old looks to have strong claims. He is also declared over hurdles at Killarney on Saturday, which may just blow the cobwebs away. Bowensonfire is a tricky yet talented customer and reached a hurdles rating of 147 after winning a listed handicap. His chase debut was encouraging, and if Jack Kennedy can keep him honest, Gordon Elliott's charge rates a major threat. Addragoole and Bunting are closely matched on hurdles form, but the former's experience gives him the edge for a place.

Maybe getting his head in front the last day helped. I thought he might be badly handicapped in that ground but it’s great to win. It’s great that the lads are here. Dave (Page) and his brother and a few of them own this fella. Dave is with me a couple of years, and they are big supporters of Cullentra. We’ve had good days and bad days, but they stick with me. Me and Danny were over in Sedgefield yesterday and I said to him on the way back that we might have a treble tomorrow. We were laughing about it! It could have come off but Brandt and Danny were okay and that's the main thing. This is a very good horse. We got him through a sale and thought we'd have to pay more for him than we did (50,000euro). It's good to have him back winning again and he could turn out to be a very good staying chaser. . Jordan Gainford would've been riding him but had to ride for Gordon (Elliott, on The Friday Man). He pulled him up in Listowel last week when he felt he'd gone wrong. He did the right thing by him there and it's paid off today. I think we'll go to Cheltenham later this month. He seems to like the track there, so we'll have a go at it.
