Formscan - AILL DUBH showed great tenacity to get off the mark under Rules at Newcastle in March. Micky Hammond's gelding is still completely unexposed at the trip so if finding further improvement, a 4lb rise should be no barrier to further success. Sir Carnegie struck the woodwork over C&D last time, a race in which Jirko unseated and Burgundy Man was well held. Fencing newcomer The Flying Poet won over hurdles here in September and needs to be monitored in the betting.
