Listowel Fri, 27th Sep, 2024  West Clare He didn't come down the hill at Galway and while he flew home, took too long to get rolling. We probably left a few quid behind us that day but it doesn't matter now. He is a seven-year-old but is getting sharper and the penny is starting to drop with him. He is a nice actioned horse so I was worried about the ground and hopefully he will go on from here. His owner Tomas O'Doherty owns the Own Pride Pub in west Clare so we'll be stopping there on the way home!

Punchestown Sat, 8th Jun, 2024  Flashthelights He’s run well a few days since I got him.

Listowel Sat, 1st Jun, 2024  Rising Dust It has been a year (since his last winner) but it was always going to come. This horse thinks a lot about his races and was going home after he was due to run at Punchestown but he reprieved himself. He followed that run up today and, more than anything, we found a jockey to ride him. At Punchestown I asked him (Mullins) to make the running if he could, but told him to make up his own mind and to go to Plan A,B,C,D,E or F or through the alphabet if he wanted. He came in and told me he couldn't fault the horse but a man with confidence can ride like that. I gave him no instructions today. I won a Kerry National for his owner (Donal O'Connor) with Native Performance when he had a 1-2 in the race but Willie Mullins trained the runner-up. We got the better of Willie for once that day and Donal and his wife led in both horses into the winner's enclosure and got a photo of it.

Wexford Wed, 29th May, 2024  Toon Town He ran here only 11 days ago and we were just a little bit worried about that. . The ground was a bit better today and it helped him, the ground the last day just caught him out I'd say. It was nice ground today and Darragh gave him a super ride. . Hopefully we can get another little race like that along the line somewhere in a couple of weeks. . We'll keep hurdling a while and it's nice for the (Teergay) syndicate who are from Macroom, they have been patient with him.
