Tramore Tue, 7th Jul, 2026  El Galvino The owners ( (Back On Track Syndicate) are great and had a winner with me here when I last had a winner, which must have been forty years ago! They are local and there are two guys who are in England, so unfortunately they didn't get to see him. Things didn't go for him the last day in Dundalk when he pulled a muscle but prior to that he had been running very consistently. We got the measure of him afterwards and he is a horse who takes no fitness- work. I thought he'd run a big race and nothing took him on, so he got a freebie. They probably thought he'd crash, but this horse doesn't do that. Robbie gave him one of those old, canny rides. Now that he has won, we'll stay on the Flat but he has schooled over hurdles and was bought to do both jobs.
