Full Volume
Full Volume is a little bit of a brat, he's a bit hot and got very upset in the stalls in Down Royal. Had to be removed so he had run his race before he ever got there, but today he was very good. In the parade ring he was really good and didn't sweat up at all, but as soon as he (Foley) got on him, he started sweating and got a bit upset. He's a proper miler and will probably go further. He is a nice horse and got a lovely tow into the race so everything went right. He quickened up well and eased down. I hope he has a future as we thought he was a nice horse prior to Down Royal. We will go baby steps with him. I love Bellewstown, it is a great track. What they have done here in the last few years is amazing.

Suspicious Mindz
he is a lovely horse and we’ve always thought an awful lot of him, but he's just been a bit of a monkey. We were so disappointed after his last run, so it was Jamie McCalmont's idea to see if a girl’s touch might help. We said it to Shane (Foley, stable jockey), so he suggested to get Jessica to ride.

When he got going, he got going very, very well. He won snug in the end. The plan was the Ulster Derby but the ground went on us. He needs good ground. The owners came over from America this morning.

Oro Blanco
he was looking at everything but was always doing enough and is progressive. He’s run over a mile, and seven furlongs, but he’s probably not a six-furlong horse so could step up in trip again. He’s a big horse for a Havana Grey and hopefully can improve again.

Delighted with that. He was a big, weak horse last year and, we knew he's step forward from his seasonal debut. He absolutely loved that ground and loved the step up in trip. I think he's a horse that could be a really nice stayer in the making and, even whatever he does this year, is going to be a bonus for when he even strengthens up a bit more next year. I think he could definitely be up to a stakes horse.

Apollo's Comet
She had a lovely run the first day. She didn't get the clearest of gaps at the bottom of the home straight in Fairyhouse. I think she would have been a lot closer. In turn, she didn't get a hard race that day. This looked a nice opportunity. It's not many Mehmas' get into these auction races, so it just looked a nice opportunity for her and, she just got there and did enough. She is a lovely filly for next year. We'll give her a bit of time and bring her back maybe the end of July.
