It was just lovely to get him here today and everything worked out,. We were minding him as he is a big leggy horse and he fulfilled what we were hoping. He shows a bit at home and we were happy to let him take his chance. . He will get a break now as we want to let him mature a bit so he can withstand the rigours of jumping. The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident shortly after jumping off involving Casino Chip (GB), ridden by Mr J.W. Hendrick, Noble Indulgence, ridden by Mr D. McGill, and Strategic (FR), ridden by Mr D. Doyle, where it appeared Strategic and Noble Indulgence momentarily ran short of room. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that the incident was caused by Casino Chip running very keenly and that no further action was warranted.

An I.N.H. flat race for four years old only that have not won a race under any N.H. Rules or Rules of Racing (excluding Academy Hurdles and 3-y-o Junior N.H. Hurdles) other than one, two or three I.N.H. flat races or N.H. flat races or a combination of such races and which had been catalogued in the Goffs Arkle National Hunt Sale (in partnership with Defender) of June 10th, 11th and 12th, 2025 and have been declared by Goffs Bloodstock Sales Ltd. as being eligible to enter and run in accordance with the relevant Conditions of Sale. Horses which do not have a registered name and have not been recorded as Racing Active with a Licensed Trainer by Wednesday, 25th March, 2026 (or if entered from a Foreign Racing Authority named and recorded with a Licensed Trainer), will be automatically struck out of this race. (Please note for Irish and British bred horses, trained in Ireland, an acceptable naming application should be made to HRI by Thursday, 19th March, 2026 at the very latest. For all other foreign bred horses, trained in Ireland, naming applications will take longer to process)
Weights - 11st 10lbs. Fillies allowed 7lbs.
Riders - Qualified Riders under I.N.H.S. Rules. Allowances to riders under Rule 52 may be claimed in this race. HRI Directive 10 is suspended for the purpose of this race. The IHRB, using their powers under Rule 22 have suspended the appropriate paragraphs of Rules 121 and 122. Should it be necessary to reduce the number of declared runners to the maximum runners or to such a lesser number as may be required the following procedures shall be applied for the elimination and balloting of horses: (i) Runners will first be reduced by balloting from among those horses that have not run in an INH Flat race, a N.H. Flat race, a Hurdle race or a Point-to-Point Steeplechase in Ireland or Great Britain prior to Thursday, 23rd April, 2026.
