uk HANDICAP STAKES (CLASS 6) Permission was given for Antiquity (GB) to be mounted in the chute and go early to post wearing a red hood, for both Dodging The Bullet (IRE) and Phyllis Burton (GB) to wear a red hood to the start and for Hopjes (SAF) to be mounted in the chute.
Hopjes (SAF) made contact with the plastic rail when leaving the Parade Ring.
Having been checked by the Veterinary Surgeon at the start, the gelding was deemed fit to race.
Following the race, Callum Hutchinson reported that Hopjes (SAF), unplaced, was slowly away.
