He returned following a layoff in tremendous style to win at Naas last month and the handicapper subsequently raised his rating to 158. His future appears to lie over fences and while he gives away weight to all bar one horse here, is still top rated on adjusted ratings and there are question marks surrounding most of his rivals. Ruby Walsh has sided with Renneti, who is quirky but fairly talented, and he ran with credit when chasing home Jezki latest. He could again find one too strong but should be involved at the business end. Stablemate Thomas Hobson is a previous Grade 2 winner and while he has found things difficult in recent times, comes here fit and well but also meeting the selection on level terms. De Plotting Shed is a useful type and while he lacks a little ability at this grade, can get involved for the placings while Supasundae is himself also useful but was comfortably held by the selection latest and might do well to overturn that form.
