FormscanBy Michael Graham - SEA WOLF is three from three at the Curragh which makes him very hard to oppose. A pair of those victories came over this trip of a mile. He arrives having defied 10 stone 1lb in a premier handicap over course and distance at the end of May. He appears to be ground versatile having won on soft, good to soft, yielding and on good. Interestingly, he holds entries in the Group Two Minstrel Stakes and Group Three Meld Stakes. He has won an Irish Cambridgeshire and been placed in an Irish Lincoln. Dragon Fei, who is in foal to Dandy Man, hasn't much racing left but is in terrific form. She won decisively over a mile and a quarter here and then followed up in the Ulster Oaks last weekend. That race proved her ability on good ground but the more rain there is will suit her more than most. Texas Rock stuck at it well for Billy Lee in a Listed race at Naas over seven furlongs. He has a course and distance win on his record and should be in the hunt for a cheque. Flight Risk landed the Group Three Ballycorus Stakes at Leopardstown. However, he has top weight of 10 stone and since winning his maiden over a mile in Cork back in October 2014 hasn't won over that trip in six subsequent attempts. Alexios Komnenos hasn't been seen since getting to within a neck of the mighty Churchill in a Group Three last July. He is a fascinating runner in this contest. He won his maiden on yielding at this venue but is hard to put forward coming off a break of almost a year. The bookmakers are taking no chances in offering him at 4/1. He is certainly one to keep an eye on for future reference.
